Campus Compact asks you to nominate students for the Howard R. Swearer Student Humanitarian Award. Campus Compact will identify five (5) students to receive the award. Awardees will be announced and recognized at a summer 2003 event in Denver, Colorado. Each awardee also receives a $1,500 award to apply toward the service program of his or her choice. Students who are nominated should be considered exemplars of student engagement. If you know students who might fit this description, please have them complete the application and the essay question and submit them along with a letter of nomination from the president of the student’s college or university. All materials must be received by National Campus Compact by 5:00pm February 21, 2003.
