UW, schools set kindergarten transition workshops
United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania and the School District of Philadelphia are sponsoring a series of neighborhood Building Bridges workshops to connect parents and caregivers with neighborhood elementary school kindergarten teachers.
Building Bridges brings together pre-k teachers and their neighborhood elementary school kindergarten teachers to share ideas and plan activities to support smooth transitions to kindergarten. The workshops will take place at numerous locations throughout the city on Thursday, February 5th from 1-3pm.
