New Visions in Central New York – Save the Date!
On November 29th, the NYS Alliance for Arts Education (NYSAAE), in collaboration with the Upper Catskill Community Council on the Arts, DCMO BOCES and ONC BOCES, will present a regional, day-long conference providing practical ideas on how the arts engage all students while meeting curriculum goals in all the Learning Standards. The conference will run from 8:30 to 3:30 at the Foothills Performing Arts Center in Oneonta, NY.
This conference focuses on the ideas that the arts bring different ways of exploring topics, ideas, cultures, and means of expression, providing stimulating ideas to embed into curriculum. Bring your hard-to-teach curriculum and learn to use the arts to inspire, enliven, enrich, ignite, and motivate students.
