CCPH is Co-Sponsoring the “Symposium on Response to Community Crisis: Lessons from Recent Hurricanes” being hosted by the Center for Civic Engagement & Social Responsibility at Tougaloo College, in Jackson, Mississippi, June 6 – 9, 2006. The overall goal is to strengthen the ability of academia and community-based organizations to understand and respond to the needs of citizens during times of crisis.
