THE UNIVERSITY & CIVIL SOCIETY: AUTONOMY AND RESPONSIBILITY
May 17-19, 2006 in Bologna, Italy
The first major international conference hosted by the University of Denver/University of Bologna International Center for Civic Engagement. This conference calls for global dialogue on the role of the university in Serving the public good. Proposals are due November 15, 2005.
They are now accepting proposals for the conference based on the themes below:
Theme 1: Values, Rights and Obligations of the University in Society
Theme 2: Public Scholarship, Research and Global Problems
Theme 3: Pedagogies of Engagement
Theme 4: Crossing Borders and Bridges
