Friday, September 23, 2005 ? Bringing the Fair Trade Movement Home ? all day concurrent workshops at the Pasquerilla Spiritual Center on Penn State?s University Park Campus. Keynote speaker: Jonathan Rosenthal, co-founder, Equal Exchange

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION: 150 early bird registrations will be accepted, so don?t delay! $50 standard, $35 students if registration and full payment is received by August 1, 2005. After August 1: $65 standard, $50 students.

The School of Living, a 501c3 non-profit organization based in Centre County, Pennsylvania, is hosting the first Conference on Ethical Commerce of our newly initiated Fair Trade Community Forum. Workshop tracks include international trade and globalization, environmental justice and human rights, strengthening local economies, faith-based approaches to social justice, and marketing and promoting fair trade.

We welcome volunteers to help with organizing the conference and street fair; some work-swap (for conference registration) positions are available.
