The Pennsylvania Nutrition Education Network Seeks Articles for Summer Issue
Posted by on May 6, 2005
The Pennsylvania Nutrition Education Network is soliciting articles and news items for the Summer 2005 issue of the quarterly newsletter Food for Thought.
We are seeking articles of approximately 250 words in length on nutrition education-oriented subject matter, primarily focused on new and innovative approaches to nutrition education. Other topics for articles included in Food For Thought may address obesity, physical activity (when combined with nutrition education), research, and evaluation. We will also include news items and scheduling information on events such as conferences and trainings as space permits. Articles may include logos and photos, as long as signed permissions for the materials are on file. Permissions must be available upon request.
Review existing issues of Food For Thought by visiting the archives located on our website at:
http://www.panen.org/related_links_resources.cfm.
The article deadline is 5 pm Tuesday, May 10. News items and information on events may be sent to me after the deadline, but the materials will be included in the newsletter as space permits. Food For Thought is scheduled to publish in June 2005, and the content will cover the quarter from June through August 2005.
Please send your articles and news items to Tom McKenna at tjm3@psu.edu, or mail them to my attention at the address listed below. Please contact me directly for additional information.
Thank you.
