Call for articles for NYLC Generator’s Fall edition.
— Articles should be focused on service-learning in an urban setting, explaining what makes this story idea uniquely suited to an urban location or issue.
— Articles should be 500 words long.
— Articles should clarify the connection to the curriculum, and answer the questions: What standards are addressed? How?
— Articles should offer more than one person’s perspective, ideally.
— Articles should include youth voice (either through authorship or quotes).
— Articles must have 1-2 strong photos available for use.
First Draft Deadline: October 8, 2004
