Community Service and Service-Learning Director Professional Development Retreat** October 31 – November 3, 2004** University of Utah, Salt Lake City

This professional development retreat is intended to help build a community of practitioners that celebrates, reflects, challenges, and supports the vast amount of service and civic engagement work within higher education. Participants will have the opportunity to assess their own knowledge and skills; reflect on their person approaches to their work; join a community of committed and supportive colleagues; discuss critical questions with experienced practitioners; obtain the latest tools and resources; and advise the Compact on future programming in this area.
