OVERVIEW: The Institute is a week long intensive professional development experience set in a breathtakingly beautiful environment on the shores of Lake Champlain. Experience service-learning in a multitude of forms and levels while planning for your own curriculum project.
Participants will be supported by a strong multi-state faculty team, with visits from additional service-learning practitioners and resource organizations. This year’s Institute welcomes the Sustainable Schools Project as a partner in assisting participants in the use of service-learning as an integrated strategy for education for sustainability.

WHO SHOULD CONSIDER: The Institute supports educators, beginner to advanced, at both the classroom-program level and site level. Individual educators and teams from schools or community agencies are welcomed.
CREDIT/RELICENSURE: All participants completing Institute expectations will receive professional development certificates. 3 optional graduate credits are available.
