Family Promise National Conference

Posted by on April 9, 2004

The four Interfaith Hospitality Networks in this area are hosting the Family Promise National Conference, bringing together coordinators, board members, pastors, and directors of IHN programs from around the country- right here in Philadelphia on Friday April 30th to Sunday May 2, 2004 at the Wyndham Franklin Plaza Hotel. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to get a broader vision of our national organization, Family Promise, that has 100+ networks around the country and growing strong.

The conference is an opportunity to learn best about practices in running our congregational based family friendly shelter programs, and to also learn about some of the political and social issues that we need to be aware of as we work to help to homeless families.

We need volunteers to provide a Philly-style welcome!
Call Rachel Falkove to register / volunteer (215) 247-4663
