A Forum on Neighborhoods and Community Engagement sponsored by the National Neighborhood Coalition.
Dr. Felton Earls, Harvard University School of Public Health, will discuss his seminal research on the human and social dynamics that determine the health, safety and viability of our nation?s neighborhoods. The Project on Human Development in Chicago Neighborhoods provides important information for policy makers, community organizers, and other concerned advocates for low-income people and neighborhoods.
Exceptional neighborhood-based leaders, who are changing lives and neighborhoods through strategic innovations in community development, will join Dr. Earls. They will share examples of programs that reduce the incidence of neighborhood problems, such as those examined in the Project on Human Development, through greater community cohesion.
