The Student World Assembly has been established to encourage democracy around the world in the Internet Age. College and university student participants, faculty advisors, and non-academic assembly supporters are invited to join the Assembly. The Internet also allows students to vote for other students who will represent them at the first annual Student World Assembly in July 2004. Student World Assembly 2004 will be convened July 12-16, 2004, at California Polytechnic State University. Cal Poly is located on the central California coast in the small college town of San Luis Obispo.
