Points of Light Training Conference

As the field of service-learning continues to grow, organizations are increasingly being asked to provide training and consulting to link schools and agencies in their communities. Join the Points of Light Foundation March 19 & 20, 2003 in Washington, DC for Agencies + Schools = Service-Learning, an interactive train-the-trainer program designed to help you facilitate agency/school partnerships for service-learning. During the training participants will learn to deliver training and consulting in the following areas:
* What service-learning is and how it benefits schools and agencies
* The nuts and bolts of developing service-learning opportunities
* Effective practices for creating successful service-learning partnerships
