Healthy Children, Healthy Futures

In February 5 -7, 2003 the University of Texas will be offering for the first time a workshop “Healthy Children, Healthy Futures: Evidence-based Strategies to Promote Child Health” for faculty and practitioners in primary care focused on the Integrated Management of Childhood Illness. This is a program from World Health Organization and Pan-American Health Organization that incorporates clinical skills, family and cultural competence, and community development to improve the health of children.

Note: Due to the nature of this workshop, registration is limited to 100 participants.
Conference will be held at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. It will be offered in both English and Spanish.
