PURPOSE__________________
The purpose of the business plan competition is to provide tools and support to increase the formation and success of female-owned businesses.
ELIGIBILITY_______________
To qualify the applicant must be female, possess and show proof (through paperwork) of at least 51% ownership in the existing or proposed business. All applying businesses should have been established for no more than 3 years. Sales/Income for existing businesses should not exceed $250,000.
AWARDS____________________
The competition winner will be awarded a sizable non-refundable grant and award. Competition runners-up will receive small business start up supplies, awards and
recognition.
There will be three awards recipients:
1) Grand Prize Winner
2) Second Place
3) Third Place
How to Enter:
Submit Application Fee: $35.00
Application fee includes a professional critique of your completed business plan, access to consulting, and credit towards a future Business Center workshop of your choice.
