A Community Service Directors Conference On Service-Learning and Civic Engagement

This exciting two day conference at the Sheraton Safari Hotel, around the corner from the Disney Parks, will address a number of important and timely issues for the field of service-learning and the work of community service directors nationwide. A fantastic group of speakers, presenters and facilitators has been gathered to create what promises to be a unique and fun conference. In addition to topics drawn from Campus Compact’s national survey, such as:

? Liability and Risk Management
? Student Panel
There will also be information and trainings around Campus Compact’s new National Student Civic Engagement Campaign. This Campaign will offer community service directors across the country the opportunity to promote service-learning and civic education on their college campuses. Nick Longo the Director of the Campaign will be here to lead discussions around the Campaign and CSD’s role in fostering student engagement on and off campus.
