TreeVitalize Neighborhood Tree Planting
Saturday, April 28, 9 am ? 1 pm
Meeting location: For Bella Vista, 9th and Bainbridge Streets; For Queen Village, the 300 block of Queen Street.
Local Tree Tender groups will plant 30 trees in Bella Vista & Queen Village in South Philadelphia with community support. Volunteers are needed. All plantings are rain or shine. Wear sturdy shoes and clothes that can get dirty. Project organizers will provide gloves and tools. Large trees are 10 to 14 foot tall trees with soil ball that weigh 200+ lbs and are planted in 3-4 person teams. For more information, contact Carla Puppin, cmpuppin@aol.com or (215) 592-7844
