Volunteer aides and tutors in schools

We need volunteers for the following positions listed below. If you have
any questions please feel free to contact me. We really need help the children need so much additional help after school.
1. Volunteers (10-20)to act as Aides to program administrative staff.
2. The tutors or mentors ( 10-20) would be responsible to help the students raise their reading levels which in turn will help raise their other acaemic subjects levels. They would work one-on-one or with small groups of 2 to 3 students. Maintain a log for the student or students with whom they tutor or
mentor. Help complete Homework assignments and school projects.
The program runs after school from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM Monday through Friday at the following schools.
William Dick Elementary – 2498 W. Diamond St
Fredrick Douglas – 2118 W. Norris St.
Andrew Hamilton – 5640 Sprurce St.
John Hartranft – 720 W. Cumberland St
Leslie Hill School – 3133 Ridge Ave.
Lowell School – 450 W. Nedro St
T.M. Peirce – 2300 W. Cambria St.
Anna H. Shaw – 5400 Warrington Ave.
M.H. Stanton – 2539 North 16th Street
Wilson Middle School – 1800 Cottman Ave
