Where will you be on September 15th and 17th?
Join teams of volunteers making a difference in communities across the region. The United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania is conducting a major volunteer mobilization – Days of Caring – on September 15th & 17th.
Days of Caring brings together teams of volunteers from the corporate, faith-based, service organization, and educational settings. Over the past 14 years, more than 30,000 volunteers have worked on thousands of projects to improve the quality of live in the communities where we live and work.
The goal for the day is 2,500 volunteers from 75 Organizations working on 100 Projects. But the major objective for the day is to have a positive impact on the community through community service.
The types of volunteer projects include painting, cleaning, restoring playgrounds, working with children and older adults to name a few. Some projects are based within an agency; some are out in the community.
