Mentors needed, KIPP Charter School
Posted by on December 31, 2004
KIPP Philadelphia Charter School is looking for Big Brother/Big Sister-type mentors for their 5th and 6th graders.
KIPP Philadelphia Charter School is a new public charter school that opened in North Philadelphia in the summer of 2003. It is an academically rigorous, college preparatory middle school designed to promote high levels of achievement and leadership in its young people.
KPCS helps all of its students climb the mountain to college by focusing on the three “D’s”: desire, discipline, and dedication, and a belief that there are no shortcuts, and no excuses.
