Cover All Kids for PA Children
Posted by on February 26, 2007
The PA Insurance Department has just received great news! Cover All Kids, Pennsylvania?s statewide comprehensive health insurance plan designed to bring no or low cost affordable health coverage to all children, has just been approved by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. This was the final hurdle to be accomplished in order to make Cover All Kids a reality, and Governor Rendell is now urging parents to start signing up their children for the coverage.
Pennsylvania is proud to be a leader in providing access to affordable health insurance for all uninsured children and teens, up to age 19. With Cover All Kids, some families in Pennsylvania will be entitled to insurance for their children at no cost, while others may pay low cost affordable premiums, according to a sliding scale based on family income.
