Post Volunteer Opps to 50+ crowd
Posted by on August 18, 2006
Dear Greater Philadelphia non-profit staffs:
If you have a NEW volunteer opportunity and would like help in getting the word out about it to prospects age 50+, Coming of Age would like to help by:
* Sending out an email blast to the almost 5,000 addresses in our data base
* Listing the opportunity on our home page as a ?Highlight.? (Check out our home page to see what a ?Highlight? looks like.)
Please send information about your new volunteer opportunity by emailing us at info@ComingofAge.org and putting ?New Volunteer Opportunity? in the subject line.
If you have a flyer about the opportunity, please attach it; we?ll link to it from both the email blast we send about your opportunity and your ?Highlight.? For the flyer, we prefer .pdf files but can work with a Word document too.
Please limit your submissions to NEW opportunities!
Also: make sure your opportunity is included in both the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania?s VolunteerWay and the Coming of Age 50+ Volunteer Opportunities Search Engines by going to the VolunteerWay agency page and updating your organization?s listing to include your new opportunity.
If your organization isn?t in the VolunteerWay data base, be sure to sign up by going to their sign-up page.
All Best.
