Wish you knew more about the literature of the service-learning field?
Visit the website of Learn and Service America’s National Service-Learning Clearinghouse to find “starter,” “expert,” and “classic” service-learning books and journal articles.
Search our library catalog at http://www.servicelearning.org/lib_svcs/lib_cat/default.php
Check-boxes at the end of the search page allow you to customize your search for the best resources to match your needs:
Starter: Basic resources for those new to service-learning
Expert: Advanced resources for those with service-learning experience
Classic: Fundamental resources appropriate for all in service-learning
These highly recommended items were selected by our Senior Program Advisors and the staff of the Clearinghouse from our collection of over 5,400 library items.
The purpose of the NSLC Library is to collect and disseminate the best information and materials related to service-learning. Although borrowing privileges are only available to Learn and Serve America Grantees, almost 500 of our library items can be found full-text online; we can assist you by providing publisher information for print-only items.
Please send resource suggestions to info@servicelearning.org
