New OSTRC Directory ? Area Trainings!
The new OSTRC Training Directory (attached to this Listserve message) is complete and in distribution! Covering the period from September 2004 through January 2005, this publication lists over 300 OST-related trainings offered by thirteen local organizations. Topics range from Drugs and the Black Man to Holiday Cooking, and from Supporting Learning: Social Studies to Executive Director 101.
Although the OSTRC Training Directory has already been published and distributed, additional organizations have contacted us requesting that they be included in an updated version. The OSTRC will update and offer a new version of this document in November, 2004. If you or your organization are interested in being included in the revised publication, please contact us at 215-898-0793 so you can fill out the directory profile form no later than Friday, October 22, 2004.
As described in our August Listserve message, the OSTRC Traveling Services Directory is available and lists individuals and organizations which travel to OST programs and present programs directly to students. Our Field Trip Directory includes regional destinations suitable to OST program visits. Both of these directories have been expanded since their original publication to include even more opportunities and resources. All three directories are available on our website (http://www.ssw.upenn.edu/OSTRC), have been distributed my mail and through multiple electronic listserves/networks, and can be obtained in hard copy by e-mailing, phoning, or writing the OSTRC directly.
