Inequality of Wealth and Income Distribution
This page looks at increasing worldwide inequality. While booming stock markets, giant mergers and frantic financial speculation provide huge rewards to a tiny minority, the majority of the world?s people are not enjoying much benefit from the neoliberal system of growth and development. For many, in fact, living standards have stagnated or declined, while the burden of work and insecurity have grown. These materials consider the consequences of income inequality as well as the increasing concentration of wealth both within and between nations.
