Board Governance: Sharpening the Focus on Accountability

Grant Thorton will host a non-profit executive webinar called Board Governance: Sharpening the Focus on Accountability on Thursday, January 15th, from 3-5pm.
The workshop will be led by Frank Kurre, National Managing Partner of the company’s Not-for-Profit Industry Practice, Anne McGeorge, National Managing Partner of its Health Care Industry Practice, and Larry Ladd, National Director, Higher Education Industry Practice. The three will lead a discussion on how non-profits, higher education institutions and not-for-profit health care organizations are evolving governance policies within their organizations.
Participants will hear an update on the latest trends in board governance and receive an overview of board structure and responsibilities; oversight of investments; the audit committee and the internal audit function; and independence and accountability.
