How to Use the Core Capacity Assessment Tool
Posted by on January 5, 2009
The Philadelphia Foundation and the TCC Group will present a free training on The Core Capacity Assessment Tool: How to Interpret a CCAT Report on January 15th.
As of May 2008, the process for applying for organizational effectiveness grants at The Philadelphia Foundation has been updated to incorporate the CCAT. The CCAT is a diagnostic assessment tool created by the TCC Group, Inc. designed to assist nonprofits with analyzing their strengths and weaknesses within four core capacities.
The CCAT is the only supplemental organizational assessment that TPF will accept for submissions for organizational effectiveness grants. Nonprofits that meet the basic eligibility requirements to apply are asked to send in a brief Intent to Apply to the foundation. Organizations whose eligibility is verified by program staff are then invited to complete the CCAT.
The training will take place from 9:30am-noon at the Philadelphia Foundation, 1234 Market Street, Suite 1800, Philadelphia. To register, email lwalsh@philafound.org. For a comprehensive list of free workshops go here.
