At the Nov 2003 Service-Learning Research conference in Salt Lake City, a small group of participants with common interests in environmental/ecological literacy and service-learning met at a roundtable session. One of the outcomes was an Environmental Service-Learning list serve, supported by Portland State University. The goal of this list is to exchange ideas, teaching strategies, research interests and other information at the intersection of these topics. We would like to expand our circle of colleagues; if you are interested, please contact smithjj@pdx.edu.
Additionally, if you are attending the San Diego Western Region Campus Compact Conference and would like to meet and talk about these topics, please e-mail Julie Smith at the same address.
