NEW REPORT & TOOL KIT: HOW TO STOP SPRAWL IN YOUR COMMUNITY
The David Suzuki Foundation has released a new report and tool kit entitled “Driven to Action: Stopping Sprawl in Your Community.” The report offers some guidance for citizens interested in reshaping our urban areas. It includes a report on the problem of sprawl, including increased air pollution and health impacts, loss of wildlife and agricultural land, reduced water quality, and more social isolation. It also features as well a user-friendly tool kit designed to help communities stop sprawl and encourage them to put pressure on all levels of government. To download the report visit
