Delaware County Connect

There is a new list-serv to support Delaware County Non-Profits called “Delaware County Connect”. Go to our new Website http://www.delcoconnect.org to subscribe!
The purpose of this list is to provide an opportunity for the nonprofit organizations of Delaware County, Pennsylvania to discuss technology-related issues. Topics ranging from basic computer and network problems to technology staffing and funding issues are appropriate for this list. Discussions regarding sources of discounted software and hardware and other services geared towards nonprofits are also encouraged.
This list is open to all staff – Administrative Assistants to Executive Directors – of our County’s nonprofits. No question should be considered too basic or too obvious to post. Each of us had to start somewhere, and we’re hoping that this list will serve as a supportive and non-threatening forum for our organizations to begin, or continue, their efforts towards effectively implementing technology.
Delaware County CONNECT is a joint effort of the United Way of Delaware County, the Delaware County Emergency Services Training Center, and the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania to bring technology resources to the County’s nonprofits.
Please note that for-profit consultants, vendors and service providers are also welcome to participate in this list. Their advice and expertise can be a valuable resource to our nonprofit community. The presence of these individuals and companies on this list in no way implies endorsement of their products or services by the organizations behind Delaware County CONNECT. Advertising and solicitation is not allowed.
