Check out hOURS, a local time currency group
hOURS is a “mutual credit” trading system. We use credits of our own creation as a medium of exchange. Thus it?s not really barter, because direct reciprocation between the parties need not be arranged. You can pay someone back by helping anyone on the system. hOURS has been up and running in the Philadelphia area since June, 2001. http://www.hoursystem.net
[ed note: I’ve been a member of hOURS since the very beginning. It’s great!]
