Providing the Power to Get Things Done
The term sustainability, as quoted among nonprofit organizations, foundations, and government funders, refers to a program’s ability to endure beyond the early stages of initiation. Training and technical assistance provider Campaign Consultation, Inc. designed and developed the SustainAbility Online website as practical tool for use by national and community service program directors to help achieve program sustainability. The site centers on the four pillars of sustainability?media and marketing, volunteer development, resource development, and collaboration. Users learn to apply the principles and practices necessary to sustain a community-based initiative. The site includes printable worksheets, links to relevant resources, and interactive components.
