The Learn-A-Test electronic resource is now available from school or home via the Free Library web page. I thought this might be of particular interest with the School District’s new emphasis on the SAT. Learn-A-Test has online SAT prep materials, along with a wide variety of other test materials.
Remote users need a Free Library card in good status, and a PIN number. Current cardholders can get a PIN online at our website, http://www.library.phila.gov. They can also apply for a card there. It takes a few days to get a PIN online; for more immediate service, users should visit any branch of the Free Library in person.
Learn-A-Test is available through the Electronic Resources button on the left side of the main page. Once on the Electronic Resources page, the easiest way to get to Learn-A-Test it is by clicking on the Complete List tab, and the going to the letter L. Users are then prompted to enter their library card number and PIN.
Once users get to the Learn-A-Test registration page, either at the library or from a remote location, they should use their library card number as their user name.
