Posted by on April 5, 2002
CityCares’ is proud to announce the launch of our national AmeriCorps
Partners in Technology website. This new site highlights the programs,
goals and achievements of Partners in Technology, a national direct
AmeriCorps service program adressing the digital divide, as well as the
AmeriCorps members that make this program possible.
The site can be found at:

The CityCares AmeriCorps Partners In Technology Program addresses the
digital divide by organizing and mobilizing skilled volunteers to
provide technological assistance to nonprofits and schools so they can
improve their use of technology and provide technology training to
low-income communities. Now in its second year, Partners in Technology
continues to respond to the technology assistance needs of schools and
community-based agencies and to provide opportunities for volunteers
looking for ways to share their technology expertise.
