After School Program for kids in Grades 9-12.
Atwater Kent Museum of Philadelphia – Free After School Program

Monday through Thursday following school until 5pm.

The Program begins on November 4, 2002. There are still openings.
There will be Three Information Sessions Explaining the Program:
Monday, November 4 after school until 5pm
Tuesday, November 5 after school until 5pm and
Wednesday, November 6 after school until 5pm
Students will be interviewed to determine their interest in the program.
There are No Income Guidelines. However, parents/guardians must fill out required forms, including source of income form. Also, No Transportation Provided.
Program offers: A chance to work on a Museum Exhibit; Real Life Design Opportunities; Behind the Scenes Introduction to the Museum; Field Trips to Historic Sites in Center City; Technology Skills; Professional Writing and Correspondence as well as Homework Help & Tutoring.
Students will work closely with museum staff to understand what museum professionals do and how a real exhibit goes from an idea to an installation. The first part of the program will run through Jan. 31.
