USE IT AGAIN, PA!!! –Visit http://www.useitagainpa.org
This website is Fantastic. I found out about it yesterday, May 16, at an Evironmental Fair along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
Among other things, this website allows you to search for businesses that rent, repair or sell used products across Pennsylvania. I believe this website was developed this year by the Clean Air Council in Philadelphia with the support
and guidance of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
The site offers the following:
Why It’s Important to Rent, Repair & Reuse Products.
How to Rent, Repair and Reuse Products
Information on Recycling in Your Area
Find a Business that can Rent, Repair or Reuse Your Product
Check out Links to other Re-Use Webpages
and for me the most important (for resource information):
Search for Businesses that Rent, Repair or Sell Used Products Across Pennsylvania (Let’s say you are looking for Used Appliances. You select Appliances. Then you select an area in Pennsylvania (Greater Philadelphia for most of us). Afterwards, select Philadelphia and a section of the city: North, Northeast, South, Center City, West, etc.). In addition to appliances, you can search for barber supplies, bicycles, boats, china and glass, clocks, clothing, consignment, electronics, furniture, home improvements, jewelry, lawn and yard care, leather goods, marble & granite, medical equipment, music, musical instruments, office furniture, photographic equipment, sporting goods, rug and carpet, sharpening services, thrift shops, tools, vacuum and sewing, watch repair and video games).
