New Listserv and Software: Organizers’ Collaborative
Posted by on May 2, 2002
In January of 2000 Organizers’ Collaborative (OC) established a low volume email list focused on the technology needs of social change groups and small nonprofits. This low-volume list, now called OCtech, has slowly grown to over 1,300 subscribers! We are about to announce some events and publish some new nonprofit resources.
So, if you are not already on OCtech, it might be a good time to subscribe (or pass this email on to friends who could use the info).
If you want to subscribe to octech@democracygroups.org, please send an email containing just the word “subscribe” in the body, to:
octech-request@democracygroups.org
OCtech covers technology and Internet tips for small nonprofits, ideas on fostering communication and collaboration among social change activists, updates on the creation of open source, free software for nonprofit and activist users, and notice of relevant events.
The content is original, and a recent archive is available at: http://lists.democracygroups.org/pipermail/octech/
Thanks for your interest!
