Filling the Gap:
How the immigrant labor force supports health industries throughout the Delaware Valley
Nurse ? Physician?s Assistant ? Clinical Research Associate ? Manufacturing Technician
These are just a small handful of the jobs available in health industries throughout the Delaware Valley. With incredible growth in medicine, pharmaceuticals, biosciences, and health care, many new career opportunities develop everyday. Consequently, demand for an educated and trained workforce is increasing.
In many cases, members of the immigrant community have responded to this call, often supplementing the domestic labor force and moving through complex health industries with impressive proficiency. However, there are questions regarding education, licensing, certification, and language barriers that remain difficult topics for employers and elected officials.
Please join our expert panel as they address some of these complex and thought-provoking issues in what promises to be an informative session.
