A presentation by Sandy Wiggins, Green Building engineer and consultant

Sandy will discuss several of his projects and feature the green restoration project he is working on at the Friends Center on Cherry Street in Philadelphia. Sandy co-founded the Delaware Valley Green Building Council, an organization devoted to changing the way builders, architects & engineers work in order to regenerate the natural environment and leverage the built environment to improve human health and productivity. In January 2004, he founded Consilience, a real estate consulting and development company with a mission to build environmentally, socially and economically sustainable communities by bringing together the principles of Green Building, Smart Growth, New Urbanism, Traditional Neighborhood Development and other established or emerging development strategies which facilitate regeneration of the natural environment, improved health and increased social equity.
