Save the date! Join us for conversations about Community-based Arts and Literacy Partnerships

Conference sessions include storytelling and art-making, panel discussions, performances and breakout sessions. Topics include:

*Art for Hearts? Sake: can arts and letters really transform lives?
*Doing Community: storytelling and case studies
*Institutional Collisions: the triumphs and wounds of partnering

Panelists include:

Jan Cohen-Cruz, writer/practitioner of activist and community-based performance and associate professor in New York University’s drama department. Deborah Brandt, Professor of English at University of Wisconsin-Madison and Research Associate, National Research Center on English Learning and Achievement.

We hope to see:
Community-based arts and community literacy organizations
Educators, students, and youth (K-12, community college, university)
Artists
Foundation and government funding representatives
