Info Session, Philadelphia Writing Project Summer Institute

The Philadelphia Writing Project will host its first 2006 Information Session for the next Invitational Summer Institute on Writing and Literacy on this Saturday, March 4, 2006 at 9:00 at the Philadelphia Federation of Teachers Health and Welfare Conference at the Wyndham Franklin Plaza Hotel in Center City. Institute facilitators and former summer fellows will be on hand to explain the program and to answer questions about the application process. Philadelphia educators in public and charter schools who are interested in writing and becoming better teachers of writing should come to this session. Persons who are accepted into the Institute will receive a tuition fellowship for all books, materials and tuition related to 3 cus of course credit (9 continuing ed. credits).
The Institute runs July 31 to August 18, 2006 from 9-3:30. A mandatory Pre-Institute Day will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2006.
