Help Raise Awareness for more Child Care Funds for Student Parents in College

Family Care Solutions invites you to attend a Student-Parent Awareness Meeting. Help bring about change to promote student-parent retention, graduation, and early childhood education.

WHO: Pell-eligible student-parents attending a two- or four-year college in the Philadelphia region and are not eligible for state childcare subsidies should plan to attend this meeting.

 Voice your concerns, fears, and requests for more help in paying for quality childcare

 Learn how you can advocate for additional funding to support non-working low-income student-parents in college

 Learn about the new state changes in eligibility guidelines for student-parents applying for childcare subsidies

BACKGROUND:

Family Care Solutions, Inc. (FCS), a nonprofit organization, was established in 1992 to provide innovative childcare resources and services to low-income families in the Philadelphia region. FCS collaborates with public and private organization to advocate for increasing access to quality childcare and the need to provide childcare services to low-income families. FCS awards grants and scholarships to low-income student-parents in college.
