SUBSTANCE AND DRUG ABUSE PRESENTATION

What do illegal drugs look like? What are their street names? What are their effects?
Lecturer Sultana Poonja is a fourth year student of the Doctor of Pharmacy program at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. She will educate us on the effects and symptoms of illegal substances, their street names and appearance, as well as overdose effects and statistical information.

BLOCK IMPROVEMENT GRANT INFORMATION SESSION

Learn more about Spruce Hill’s $500 matching grant program and how your block can apply. You will be introduced to this award-winning greening and community building program and learn how other blocks have collaborated to improve their streetscapes. The workshop will include a review of the application process and available resources.
Eligible blocks for this program are within Spruce Hill from 40th – 46th Streets; Market to Woodland.
There will be light refreshments available at all sessions as well as FREE on-site childcare.
