Local Foods Dinner at Penn

*Local. It’s What’s for Dinner. *

Join FarmEcology on Thursday, March 31st, for the first Local Food dinner at Penn. Enjoy a dinner prepared with all local and seasonal ingredients in the Kings Court/English House dining hall and join Judy Wicks, owner of the White Dog Cafe, when she explains *”Why Local Food Tastes Good and Makes a Difference.”*

Dinner will be served from 4:45–7:15pm and the talk will begin at 5:30 in the Kings Court/English House dining hall.

Judy is the owner of the White Dog Cafe and founder of BALLE (Business Alliance for a Local Living Economy) and the White Dog Foundation. She’ll speak to the University and Philadelphia community about the importance of buying and eating locally and will discuss the benefits of supporting regional independent businesses and family owned farms using ecologically responsible farming methods, as well as offer suggestions and ways that you can help promote this cause and vote with your food dollar.

Use a meal swipe or pay at the door using Dining Dollars, PennCash, SFS Credit, or Cash.
