The role of religion in politics is an increasingly polarizing issue, as demonstrated in last year?s election. Many Americans believe that religious and moral values, instead of being so divisive, can play a healthier and more unifying role in our public and political discourse. Join us as we explore these issues:

– Do ?moral and religious values? belong to one side of the political spectrum and not the other?
– How can we create ?common ground? among religious persons who differ politically but care about similar issues, such as poverty?
– Can we use religious language in a new way to bring people together about the vision of justice in our religious traditions?

Persons of all political perspectives and religious traditions (or none) are welcome to join the conversation!
