The National Center for Community Education (Flint, Michigan) and the Center for Community Partnerships (CCP) will cosponsor their sixth annual workshop at Penn on Community Schools-Higher Education Partnerships from April 11-13, 2005. This three-day workshop will explore the development and implementation of K-H partnerships to support school day, after school and extended day programs that meet the broad range of needs of children and youth, their families and the broader community through an active, civically engaged, service-oriented, integrated K-H curriculum.
Who should attend: Teams of 3-5 people, including K-H educators, community partners, service-learning directors, staff of 21st Century Community Learning Centers.

Workshop Times: Workshop begins 8:30 AM on Monday April 11 and ends at 1:30 PM on April 13.
Workshop fee is $150, which includes double room at the Sheraton University City Hotel, continental breakfast and lunch each day, dinner on Monday, and materials. Single rooms are available at the participants’ expense of $149 per night plus tax (conference fee remains $150 dollars). Register online with NCCE at http://www.nccenet.org.
