Chestnut Hill College proudly sponsors this annual fundraising dinner for the Northwest Philadelphia Interfaith Hospitality Network, a program involving 1000 volunteers from area congregations in serving homeless families of our neighborhood. Local potters donate hand made bowls. Restaurants donate soups, breads and desserts. For a modest contribution, guests select a bowl, fill it with delicious soup, eat and enjoy. At the end of the dinner, each attendee leaves with an empty bowl as a reminder that many in our country have empty bowls, not by choice, but by unfortunate circumstances.
