Regional Engaged Department Institute
October 15 & 16, 2004
Holiday Inn-Harrisburg/Hershey
Grantham, PA
The Pennsylvania Campus Compact, in collaboration with the West Virginia Campus Compact and the New York Campus Compact, is hosting an Engaged Department Institute designed to integrate the practices of service-learning and civic engagement into academic departments.
Edward Zlotkowski, senior fellow at the national Campus Compact Office, will lead the Institute.
The Institute is designed for teams of faculty from the same department. For example, a team of four people could include three English faculty members and the director of service-learning. Individual participants may not register for the Institute.
The registration fee of $150/person includes meals, meeting materials, and publications.

The Pennsylvania Campus Compact Annual Conference will be held November 5-7 at the Holiday Inn East, Harrisburg.
Details on both of these events will be available later this summer.
