A DAY OF DIALOGUE

The 1st Summit on health and safety issues for Philadelphia Sex Workers
Purpose:
To learn about the issues and challenges faced by sex workers including health care, the judicial process, and safety.
Audience:
Agency staff serving sex workers, including but not limited to: representatives from government, community-based organizations, shelters, drug treatment facilities, research institutions, public service organizations, and law enforcement.
Goals:
? learn about the services that are available to sex workers as well as unmet service needs
? insure that sex workers know about existing services
? reduce barriers that keep sex workers from accessing these services
? develop strategies for improving and increasing services
This meeting will highlight local leaders and programs.
There will be workshops on:
Safety, Health, Behavioral Health and Law Enforcement.
